PathGroup is seeking an experienced AP/CP Board-Certified Pathologist at our partner hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This full-time opportunity offers a blend of clinical diagnostic responsibilities and laboratory operational oversight, providing a visible role in hospital leadership and ongoing quality initiatives.

Moderate to high-volume pathology service supporting multiple Fort Wayne hospitals
CAP-accredited laboratories with advanced histology, cytology, and ancillary diagnostics
Leadership responsibilities include maintaining laboratory regulatory compliance (CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission)
Opportunity to shape and lead quality improvement initiatives across pathology and laboratory services

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (CAP, CLIA, Joint Commission)
Provide clinical oversight for transfusion services, hematology, microbiology, chemistry
Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases
Participate actively in quality improvement, hospital committees, and multidisciplinary case discussions
Foster collaboration and communication between laboratory services, clinicians, and hospital leadership
