Job description

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our team supporting a leading regional medical center in Jackson, Mississippi. This is a full-time, hospital-based position offering a rewarding mix of general surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology duties. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, service-oriented pathologist committed to high-quality diagnostics and clinical partnership.

Key Responsibilities

Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases

Perform frozen sections and intraoperative consultations

Provide clinical pathology oversight (including transfusion medicine, chemistry, hematology)

Participate in tumor boards and clinical discussions

Maintain compliance with CAP and hospital standards
