PathGroup Pathology Opportunity

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our growing practice based in Oxford, Mississippi. This full-time, community-based position offers a rewarding mix of general surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player committed to providing high-quality diagnostic services and clinical partnership.

About the Practice:

Community-focused pathology practice supporting local Oxford hospitals

Broad spectrum of pathology cases: GI, breast, GYN, GU, non-gyn cytology

Clinical pathology responsibilities including transfusion medicine and hematology

Opportunity for tumor board participation and clinical discussions

Support for ongoing quality initiatives and CAP standards

Key Responsibilities:

General surgical pathology and cytopathology sign-out

Frozen section and intraoperative consultation services

Clinical pathology oversight duties (transfusion services, chemistry, hematology)

Participation in tumor boards and interdisciplinary clinical discussions

Commitment to maintaining diagnostic accuracy and laboratory quality standards

Qualifications:

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution

AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility

Eligible for Mississippi medical license

Strong diagnostic and communication skills

Commitment to a collegial, team-based approach to pathology services
