Solo Pathology Medical Director OpportunityHCA Healthcare Pathology Services and their West Florida Division is seeking a solo pathology medical director to be based at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital which is located on the coast about an hour northeast of Tampa. HCA Healthcare Pathology Services employs over 200 board certified multispecialty pathologists nationwide and provides professional services to over 100 HCA Healthcare owned hospitals as well as commercial clients. Our physician partners are a key component to our success and we work closely with them to achieve the most favorable patient outcomes.Qualified Candidates:AP/CP certification is requiredAt least three years of hospital-based experience is preferredActive Florida Medical License and/or FCVS is a plusComfortable with the full scope of AP and CPThe successful candidate must work cooperatively within diverse environments, have excellent interpersonal skills, and successfully establish and maintain positive relationships with hospital medical staff, technical staff and referring physiciansVolumes – approximately 3,500 surgical cases per year and 600 non-gyn cytology cases per yearIncentive/Benefits Package:Competitive compensation package including annual profit-sharing bonusExcellent benefits package including health/vision/dental, CME allowance, PTO and 401kRelocation assistance providedMalpractice insurance providedClient Details:City: HudsonState: FL
