This well-established hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to the southeastern Missouri region and surrounding communities. The facility features a fully equipped pathology lab with histotech and a PA that performs grossing, ensuring strong departmental support for locum providers.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical
Job Details:
Fill an ongoing locum need with an assignment running 9/28 through 01/02/27
Provide locum support to maintain adequate coverage, ensure continuity of operations, and prevent delays in pathology reads
Handle 40-60 blocks per shift in a fully supported pathology lab environment
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with every other weekend beeper call
Lab is supported by a histotech and a PA who performs grossing
Board certification required with BLS certification
Must hold an active Missouri license or IMLC
Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
