Anatomic/Clinical Pathology opening in Morris, IL Located in Morris, IL - Joliet 30m; Naperville 45m; Chicago 60mFull-time; PermanentEmployedSeeking Board-Certified Anatomic/Clinical PathologistNo J-1 or H-1B visa support Overview: Monday-Friday schedule with no call responsibilities Future Medical Director leadership opportunity Join a collaborative two-pathologist practice Broad Anatomic and Clinical Pathology practice with a diverse case mix Approximately 90% Anatomic Pathology and cytology Surgical pathology and gross examination Frozen sections Gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology Fine needle aspiration adequacy Clinical laboratory consultation Provide pathology services for one hospital, an ambulatory surgery center, 28+ healthcare locations, and regional long-term care facilities One hospital and one CAP-accredited Core Laboratory with no multi-campus system complexity Core Laboratory performs approximately 1.5 million tests annually Laboratory services include chemistry, special chemistry, serology, immunology, histology, hematology, coagulation, transfusion medicine, and microbiology with susceptibility testing Opportunity to work closely with clinical colleagues and laboratory leadership Clear opportunity to transition into future departmental leadership Comp/Benefits: $300,000-$400,000 base salary plus additional incentive opportunities $20,000/year medical education loan repayment PSLF-eligible employer Relocation assistance up to $8,000 $6,000 annual CME/general expense allowance 6 weeks PTO plus additional CME time Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 403(b) with employer match 457(b) deferred compensation plan Physician Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERP) Employer-paid malpractice insurance with tail coverage after 5 years Gym membership and annual wellness incentive Group/Facility Info: Independent, not-for-profit community healthcare organization 89-bed acute-care hospital serving more than 170,000 residents Supported by more than 200 physicians and APPs Network includes 27 healthcare centers across 12 communities Physician-focused environment emphasizing autonomy, collaboration, and leadership CAP-accredited Core Laboratory Significant recent investment in hospital facilities and technology Opportunity for long-term career growth within an independent health system About the Area: Morris offers an affordable, relaxed lifestyle approximately 55 miles southwest of downtown Chicago.
