Job description
We are seeking a Pathologist for ongoing locum coverage in a hospital-based anatomic pathology setting. This opportunity offers a stable weekday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities.

Start: July 2026
Ongoing coverage
Single-site hospital setting
Schedule:
Monday Friday
8:00 AM 4:30 PM
No call
No weekends
Practice Setting:
Hospital-based anatomic pathology
EMR: Meditech
Support staff available
Work Details:
General surgical pathology
Cytopathology
Frozen section interpretation
Basic clinical pathology
Procedures / Skills:
Frozen sections (on-site)
Grossing (with tech support; occasional backup required)
Additional Details:
No autopsies required
Majority case mix includes GI pathology
Cytology/FNA experience preferred
Backup pathologist and outside lab support available
Support Staff:
Dedicated grossing technician
Requirements:
Physician (MD/DO)
Comfortable with general pathology workflow and frozen sections
