Pathology TranscriptionistLocation: Teaneck, NJContract: 13 weeks | No anticipated extension or conversionStart Date: ASAP upon successful completion of all required onboarding and clearance requirementsThis is a 13-week, 100% onsite assignment.Candidates must have at least 1 year of pathology office/pathology-related experience.Candidates must have experience with medical terminology and medical transcription/documentation.Pathology terminology experience is required.Candidates must type 45-50 WPM and demonstrate strong transcription/proofreading accuracy.Typical workload includes approximately 50 reports/cases transcribed or proofread per day and approximately 15-20 reference lab/consultation cases per day.The role supports Tumor Board, Surgical Review Committee, consultation cases, and other internal conferences approximately 2-3 times per week.PowerPath LIS and WebHIS experience are preferred; candidates must be comfortable learning these systems if they have not previously used them.Minimum 1 year of pathology office or directly related pathology experience required.Experience with medical terminology and pathology terminology required.Experience performing medical transcription, proofreading, and/or medical documentation processing required.Experience supporting a Pathology department, Pathologists, or comparable pathology workflow required.Experience working in a high-volume, detail-intensive healthcare environment.Experience managing multiple documentation and administrative priorities simultaneously.
