Patient Access SpecialistAt St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences.This customer service position is often the first person a patient encounters when entering a St. Luke's Meridian Hospital. This important role supports exceptional interactions to ensure professional, timely and accurate written and verbal communication with both patients and caregivers (both in person and by phone).Schedule: Monday through Friday 2:00pm-8:00pmWhat you can expect from this role:Registration, scheduling, and referral coordination for patientsDiscussions on financial options and/or explanations of insurance coverage, including authorizations, verifications, and estimatesUse a variety of technologies, tools and resources to support departmental workflowsOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications for this Role:Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.At St. Luke's, caring for people in the communities we serve is our mission – and this includes our own SLHS team.
