As the primary facilitator of communication, this role ensures clear information exchange between patients, providers, and other departments, enhancing continual care collaboration. The specialist manages and maintains patient data within electronic medical records, verifying and updating insurance and demographic details for compliance and accuracy. Challenges include multitasking under pressure and adapting to varying patient and provider needs swiftly.
