Patient Access Team LeadAscension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital | Murfreesboro, TNOnsite | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PMR1 is seeking a Patient Access Team Lead to lead a team of Patient Access Representatives at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford.This is a great opportunity for someone with leadership experience who enjoys coaching teams, improving operations, and creating a positive experience for patients. As a Team Lead, you'll oversee registration, scheduling, and front-end revenue cycle activities while serving as a key partner to hospital leadership, physicians, nurses, and support staff.You'll play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly, supporting team performance, monitoring workflows, and ensuring patients receive excellent service from the moment they arrive.In this role, you will:Lead and support the daily activities of the Patient Access teamCoach and mentor team members while helping drive engagement and performanceMonitor productivity, staffing, quality, and operational metricsPartner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for improvementSupport registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient intake workflowsServe as a liaison between clinical and administrative teamsAssist with reporting, compliance, and other operational initiativesWe're looking for someone who:Has previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experienceThrives in a fast-paced environmentCommunicates effectively with patients, staff, and leadershipIs comfortable navigating multiple computer systemsEnjoys solving problems and supporting othersHealthcare, Patient Access, registration, admissions, scheduling, insurance verification, revenue cycle, or customer service experience is preferred.At R1, we know the patient experience starts long before care is delivered.
