Patient Account Representative - PRNWe're excited to welcome a friendly, dependable PRN Patient Account Representative to our Business Office team. This flexible, as-needed role is a great fit for someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team, takes pride in staying organized, and finds fulfillment in helping others. You'll play a meaningful part in creating a positive experience for patients and coworkers alike. PRN team members are an important part of our hospital family, stepping in with flexible availability to provide coverage during staff absences, busy times, or special projects.Key Responsibilities:Register patients in a timely and accurate mannerAnswer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalismVerify and update patient and insurance informationAssist with scheduling, data entry, and general office supportDeliver friendly and efficient customer service to patients, staff, and visitorsComplete other duties as assigned to support the department as neededQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical office setting preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAble to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environmentComfortable using computers and learning new systemsAt Wilson Medical Center, every team member plays a meaningful role in delivering exceptional care to our community.
