nDepartment:Acute Medical Surgical
nSchedule:Full-Time, Nights 7p-7a, rotating weekends
nHospital:Holy Family Medical Center- LTACH
nLocation:Des Plaines, IL 60016
nResponsibilities
nThe Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
nQualifications
nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
nnnHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
n
nnCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification required.
n
nnCurrent Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
n
nnCurrent EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
n
nnCurrent BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
n
nnPossesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
n
nnMinimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $18.00 to $26.68. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
