n0.75 FTE 12p-12:30a shift
nStarting Pay - $20.40 to $29.98 (based on experience)
nOffers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.
nQualifications:
nCompletion of nursing assistant program or previous experience
nCertified Nursing Assistant preferred
nBasic Life Support (BLS) certified
nPrevious hospital experience preferred
nJob Responsibilities:
nWorks under the direct supervision and instruction of the RN to provide direct patient care activities.
nProvides direct patient care for patients of all ages that includes, but is not limited to, personal care and hygiene, vital signs, and ambulation.
nCollaborates with healthcare team to provide patient care.
nDocuments patient care appropriate to role in the patient chart.
nReports directly to supervising RN or department charge nurse.
nFor patients requiring close observation for safety: positions self in room at the bedside to maintain constant visual observation of the patient. Never leaves the patient alone or out of sight unless directed by RN.
nAssists in set up, take down, and cleaning of equipment.
nMaintains patient room order and keeps rooms adequately stocked.
nAssists clinicians with procedures within scope of practice.
nAssists with the transport of patients as needed.
nCommunicates in a professional manner with patients and colleagues.
nAdvocates for the patient at all times.
nMaintains OMC organizational competencies and nursing competencies pertinent to job title and area of work.
nManages information in accordance with state and federal requirement.
nOther duties as assigned.
