n72hrs per pp 7a-7:30p
nSet rotating schedule to include set weekend rotation up to every other weekend. Schedule will be given after successfully completing the orientation period. Management does have discretion to change schedule 30 days prior to the start of the 6-week scheduling periods if needed. Holidays scheduled in accordance with CBA

nPosition Summary:
nPatient Care Assistant, PCA works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of a RN. A Patient Care Assistant, PCA is expected to assist the patient in maintaining good hygiene, activities of daily living and to support quality of patient care.
nWhat Patient Care Assistant, PCA will do:
nnnRespond to patient call lights for assistance or by rounding.
n
nnProvide or assist patients with personal hygiene including showers, oral hygiene and dressing/undressing.
n
nnTransports patients as needed for procedures, transfers or discharge.
n
nnMaintains a clean and uncluttered environment in patient rooms.
n

nMinimum Qualifications:
nnnHigh School diploma or equivalent
n
nnCertified Nursing Assistant or 6 months of experience direct Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Tech, or completion of at least 1 clinical rotation in Nursing School, or enrollment in the Trinity Health Muskegon PCA program.
n
nnWell-developed communication skills, both written and oral
n
nnAble to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing divers perspectives.
n
nnArticulates and demonstrates commitment to the philosophy, values, mission and vision of the organization.
