Patient Care Assistant

Our agency is looking for a part-time Patient Care Assistant to work varying shifts. Our Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) also work on a weekend and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities:
Inspect and monitor common facilities regularly for the safety and welfare of our residents.
Transportation of residents to appointments, meetings and field trips will be required as needed, with use of a company vehicle.
Light clerical duties.
Prioritize and execute assigned tasks in a timely efficient manner.
Observes video surveillance monitors regularly and reports unusual incidents.
Assists residents as needed in all activities of daily living, including cooking, cleaning, grooming, laundry, etc.
Assists the residents in the development of interpersonal and coping skills, including adapting to home and its' rules and structure.
Follow safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, and other staff members.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required.
Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
Knowledge of Chemical Dependency preferred.
