The posted compensation range of $15.00 - $20.63 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As our Patient Care Assistant, you'll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.
Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms.
Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients' conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well.
Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff
Monitors and records vital signs
Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs
Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output
Obtains and records daily weight
Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter
High School Graduate, upon hire or
High School GED, upon hire and
Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
Prior Experience, upon hire
