The Springfield Office Team provides caregivers for the Central Illinois area including Sangamon County, Menard County, Morgan County, Logan County, and many others. nPatient Care Assistant - PCA Responsibilities
nnnHelp clients take prescribed medication
n
nnAssist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
n
nnAssist clients with personal care and hygiene
n
nnHelp clients with routine exercises
n
nnPlan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
n
nnDo the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
n
nnPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
n
nnBe a pleasant and supportive companion
n
nnReport any unusual incidents
n
nnAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
n
n nPatient Care Assistant - PCA Requirements
nnnPassion to serve others - a true caregiver

nnExcellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
n
nnKnowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
n
nnWillingness to adhere to health and safety standards
