nAbout the Role
nWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable Patient Care Assistant to join our healthcare team and support the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this role, you will work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to promote patient comfort, safety, and overall well-being while providing excellent service to patients and families.
nnnAssists patients with daily hygiene and personal care needs while promoting dignity and comfort.
n
nnObtains and documents vital signs, glucose checks, intake and output, and other patient care data, promptly communicating any changes or concerns to the RN.
n
nnAssists with ambulation, repositioning, transfers, and mobility activities to support patient safety and prevent complications.
n
nnProvides support with activities of daily living and assists patients with routine care needs as appropriate.
n
nnMaintains a safe patient environment by following infection prevention, fall prevention, and patient safety protocols.
n
nnResponds promptly and professionally to patient and family requests, providing courteous, respectful, and compassionate service.
n
nnParticipates in purposeful hourly rounding and communicates pertinent patient information, concerns, or changes in condition to the nursing team.

n nWhat You Bring
nnHigh school diploma, GED or equivalent. Hospital patient care experience preferred. BLS or obtain within first year of employment.
n nRequired Skills, Abilities and Attributes:
