Patient Care CoordinatorPride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client's medical facility in Braintree, MA 02184. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!Job SummaryThe Patient Care Coordinator provides administrative and customer service support within a clinical department. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, assisting patients throughout their visit, coordinating referrals and authorizations, maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR), and ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting clinical operations.Specific DutiesSchedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.Answer calls and assist with patient inquiries.Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medical documentation.Greet patients and update demographics in the EMR.Schedule follow-up visits and assist with check-out.Complete patient forms and process prescription renewals.Maintain records, prepare correspondence, and support reporting.Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring HIPAA compliance.Required Qualifications1+ year of healthcare, clinical, or customer service experience.Experience with EMR/EHR systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
