nNew Jersey Center for Oral Surgery is looking for a friendly and organized Patient Care Coordinator/Dental Front Desk professional to join our team in Florham Park and Caldwell, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of our practice while playing a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience from the very first interaction.
nResponsibilities:
nGreet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
nCheck patients out and schedule surgical procedures
nSchedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the daily calendar efficiently
nVerify dental insurance eligibility and referrals
nCollect patient payments and co-pays
nMaintain and update accurate patient records and electronic health information, paying specail attention to HIPAA requirements
nCommunicate with referring dental offices and coordinate patient care transitions
nAnswer high volume, multi-line phone systems, respond to patient inquiries, emails, and manage voicemails
nRequirements:
nPrior dental or oral surgery front desk experience strongly preferred
nFamiliarity with dental practice management software
nKnowledge of dental insurance verification
nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
nHighly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
nProficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare administration education a plus
