Job description
Patient Care TechPatient Care Techs provide personal care; health-related services; and assist with activities of daily living. Patient Care Techs function under the direction; instruction; and supervision of nursing staff. Patient Care Techs have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; improvement initiatives; and continuing education.Job RequirementsMinimum Work Experience:No previous experienceRequired Licenses/Certifications:CPR-BCLSRequired Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities:Input data into computer programs.Communication and public relation skills.Obtain manual or electronic vital signs.Work with therapeutic equipment.Answer telephones.Collaborate care with nurses and report patient concerns promptly.Ability to follow safety guidelines.Ensures excellent time and attendance.Ability to handle confidential information and follow HIPAA Compliance.Maintain professional appearance at all times.Designated Driver:NoOSHA Category:1 - High Risk
