Job DescriptionUp to $6,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 monthsFull Time, DaysA Patient Care Technician is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN or LPN in the provision of patient care and tending to the personal care needs of the patient as directed by the RN or LPN, as well as functioning as a unit secretary. Unit Secretary duties include, but are not limited to, the transcription and data entry of physician orders, retrieving patient information, maintaining patients' data records, answering phones, taking and reporting messages, running errands, delivery and pick up of specimens and supplies, as well as ordering and restocking of unit supplies.QualificationsEDUCATION.Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.EXPERIENCE:Previous Patient Care Technician experience preferred.REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) or E.M.T. or documented evidence of successful completion of an accredited nursing school program.Current American Heart Association BLS CertificationOTHER QUALIFICATIONS: None required.About UsBe the heart of compassionate care in a patient care support role with us!
