Job description

FT Therapy Patient Care TechnicianWe are seeking a full-time therapy patient care technician at our Arlington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Arlington, TX, to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!Our hospital offers comprehensive benefits, designed to support your health and financial well-being.Benefits:PPO and high deductible medical plan optionsFlexible spending and health savings account options availableDental and vision coverage401K with employer matchingLife insuranceShort-and-long term disabilityWellness & work life balance:Employee assistance programWellness program with quarterly wellness challenges with participation incentivesEarned time off - start accruing vacation time on start dateQualificationsRequired skills:High school diploma or equivalent required.CPR certification required.One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferredAdditional qualifications/skills:Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.Demonstrates awareness of current infection control requirements and practicesDemonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelinesDemonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipmentDemonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.Effective organizational and time management skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.Ability to work closely and professionally with others.Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.Responsibilities:Working under the supervision of a licensed therapist, primarily responsible for providing support care to patients and therapy staff. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
