Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician, you will perform routine and complex patient care activities, assist with daily living needs, and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care as part of the nursing team.Provide direct patient care and perform Nurse Aide responsibilities as needed.Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients.Support patients with daily living activities and provide reassurance during periods of anxiety or distress.Monitor and record vital signs and other clinically relevant information.Communicate observations to the multidisciplinary team to support quality patient care.Adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards of care.This position provides staffing coverage for all shifts, including weekends.Preferred CriteriaA college degree and at least one year of psychiatry-related experienceEKG & Phlebotomy experienceRequired CriteriaHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum one year of experience as Nurse AideACLS, BCLS and additional American Heart Association Life-Support classesAbility to read, write and perform mathematical functionsDemonstrated ability to communicate with staff, patients and visitorsComplete in-house training programJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
