nResponsibilities
nnnTake and record vital signs, blood sugars, and monitor patient condition
n
nnAssist patients with daily activities (mobility, hygiene, meals, and comfort needs)
n
nnSupport safe transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention
n
nnProvide compassionate interaction and emotional support to patients and families
n
nnCollaborate with nurses and the care team during treatments and procedures
n
n nQualifications
nEducation:
nnHigh School Diploma/GED or currently and actively working towards completion of Diploma/GED
n nCertification/License:
nnnPrefer candidates that have successfully completed the CNA program and are active on the Iowa Direct Care Registry
n
nnMust possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months from date of hire
n
