nJob Summary
nUnder the direction of a charge nurse, the Patient Care Technician II assists the nursing staff in provision of basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
nCore Job Responsibilities
nnnResponds to any patient call lights
n
nnGives status report of patient to appropriate personnel
n
nnPerforms documentation duties on unit, which is timely, comprehensive, and concise, in order to provide accurate information
n
nnAssists with personal hygiene
n
nnAssists with activities of daily living and mobility
n
nnAssists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
n
nnPerform other duties as required
n
n nEducation/Experience Requirements
nREQUIRED:
nnnHigh School graduate or equivalent
n
nn1 year experience in related field
n
nnCompletion of a Phlebotomy Course
n
n nLicensure/Certification Requirements
