n24 hour work week consisting of two 12 hours shifts
nSchedule rotation commitment: Three week rotations between day shift (7:00am - &:30pm) and night shift (7:00pm - 7:30am)
nThe schedule includes working a weekend and holiday rotation
nINITIAL TRAINING IS FULL TIME DURING THE DAY
nPOSITION SUMMARY:
nDelivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgements or administration of medications.
nDuties include, but not limited to: Bedside patient care, vitals, positioning, feeding and EKG.
nIs accountable for the patient care they deliver. Adheres to St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center standards of care and practice.
nEDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
nHigh School diploma or equivalent is required.
nMedical background, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred.
nBasic computer skills required
nParticipates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise. Completes population specific competency annually on populations served as identified in scope of care and service.
nSPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
nCurrent BLS/CPR certification and First Aid training provided upon hire
nWORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:
nOffice/Clinical setting. Exposure class I.
nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
nHeavy work: requires standing, lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying.
nPay Range: $17.25 - $25.00
nPay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based o
