Job description
Patient Care Technician Travel Assignment
Patient Care Technician travel assignment for 13 weeks in Missoula, MT. Provides critical ER registration and patient care support while maintaining independent and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as main ER registration person, checking patients in and obtaining vital signs.
Assist the nurse with patient care tasks and administrative duties as needed.
Help on the hospital floor by passing trays, preparing patients for meals, and answering patient needs during downtime.
Relieve other CNAs for lunch to ensure adequate staff coverage on the floor.
Follow facility protocols and procedures diligently, maintaining professionalism and independence in all assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
CNA certification
BLS certification
PCT/ER registration experience
Minimum 2 years hospital experience
Familiarity with small-town ER settings or floating between departments
Proven experience with patient registration and administrative responsibilities
Ability to work independently without supervision
Flexibility to switch between administrative and hands-on patient care tasks
Strong team player with a proactive attitude
Excellent communication skills and professionalism
Physical capability to assist with routine patient care duties
