Job description
HCA Healthcare is seeking a Patient Logistics Coordinator RN for Psych Intake to streamline behavioral health admissions and transfers. In this role, you’ll coordinate psychiatric patient placement, conduct clinical intake assessments, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure safe, timely care transitions. You’ll monitor bed availability, verify clinical appropriateness, and communicate with families and community partners. The role also includes documenting in EMR systems, adhering to regulatory and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement in patient flow within a compassionate, patient-centered culture.
