Job description
Position Summary
nThis position provides supervision of patients requiring observation of their personal safety in a hospital setting.
nPrimary Position Responsibilities
nnnProvides one to one observation to ensure patient’s personal safety/Observation of patients that may be provided by visual camera monitoring surveillance.
n
nnAssists with feeding of patient under the direction of the RN
n
nnEngages patient in diversional activities under the direction of the RN
n
nnOther duties as assigned

n nQualifications
nMinimum Education:
nRequired:
nHigh school diploma or equivalent.
nMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
nRequired:
nNone
nLicense, Registry or Certification:
nRequired:
nCurrent CPR certification required. Crisis Prevention (CPI) training is required, and must be renewed annually. If not certified upon hire, must obtain certification within 6 months. CPI course will be provided by Hunterdon.
nKnowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
nRequired:
nAbility to read, write and speak English. Ability to use language that is easily understood.
