Patient Safety MonitorAt Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position is $15.00–$22.50, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.Position Summary: Patient Safety Monitor, Full-time 32 Hours per Week, Nights, 11 pm - 7:30 am LawrenceUnder the supervision of a registered nurse, as a Patient Safety Monitor you will provide one-to-one, two-to-one, or rounding observation of patients who have been deemed a safety risk to themselves and/or others. They assist in the provision of a safe and clean environment and provide assistance with activities of daily living, when appropriate. Communicates changes in behavior / activity to the registered nurse.Education and Related Experience:Minimum Required:High School Diploma or equivalentBCLS or Heart Savor certificationKnowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environmentPossesses the judgment and ability to effectively communicate observed changes Required training to be completed within 30 days:Completion of a certified crisis intervention training programUniversal precautions and Infection controlSeizure safety/protocolsFall protocols/preventionRestraintsSuicide PrecautionsPreferred:Clinical work experience
