Clinical Services PositionClinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice. Clinical Services are responsible for medical services that directly or indirectly provide healthcare to patients.Responsibilities:Greet patients and families.Answer center telephones, distribute faxes, and prepare customer files.Schedule patient appointments.Receive and correctly record receipts of patient payments.Enter, verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.Obtain insurance verifications (VOB), pre-authorizations and pre-determinations.Process requests for records from outside sources.Scan data into document imaging software.Regular attendance and punctuality.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Ensures that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved.Perform any other functions as required by management.Qualifications:Medical Office experience, highly desiredHigh School Diploma, equivalent or work experience, highly desiredExperience accessing and updating an EMR system.Bilingual in Spanish requiredWhat is expected of you and others at this level:Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete standard tasksWorks on basic and routine assignmentsSelects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelinesWork is closely managed and follows detailed instructionsSeeks regular guidance and advice from supervisorLocation:cCARE Cancer Center: High Desert12998 Hesperia Road Suite 204 Victorville, CA 92395Anticipated hourly range: $21.00 per hour - $25.51 per hourBonus eligible: NoBenefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Medical, dental and vision coveragePaid time off planHealth savings account (HSA)401k savings planAccess to wages before pay day with myFlexPayFlexible spending accounts (FSAs)Short- and long-term disability coverageWork-Life resourcesPaid parental leaveHealthy lifestyle programsApplication window anticipated to close: 7/22/2025 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible.The hourly range listed is an estimate.
