Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - FloatBaylor Scott & White Institute for RehabilitationFort Worth, TXHours: vary M-F between 7am - 7pmPRN – FloatCandidate will be required to travel to multiple outpatient clinics.Area of Coverage (including but not limited to): Ft Worth Fossil Creek, Ft Worth Alliance, Lake Worth, Bryant Irvin, Camp Bowie, Aledo, Weatherford, and Keller areasPRN rate: $21.00 per hourResponsibilitiesSeeking someone that is organized, adaptable and able to work well with others or independently. Candidate will be required to travel to other locations as needed. Candidate to provide outstanding customer service and get things done. We process referrals, schedule patients complete the intake process, data entry, insurance verification, authorizations, review of benefits with patients, copay collection, arriving and scheduling patients, billing reports, closing report and other task as needed.Greets patientsAnswers phonesPatient intake and data entryInsurance verification and pre-authorizationSchedules patient appointmentsOperates front office of outpatient centersSupports therapists and therapy assistantsDaily cash balancing and weekly banking depositsQualificationsHS diploma or GED is requiredPreferred ExperienceCustomer service experienceKnowledge of insurance verificationHealthcare, medical, or dental office administrationAdditional DataEqual Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
