Patient Services Assistant - Ambulatory Surg-Part Time-DaysThe Patient Service Assistant functions in a multi-faceted capacity in the Operating Room. Works under the supervision of the Patient Care Director or designee. Provides escort and transport service. Performs STAT errands. Performs assigned duties to assist the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse/OR Technician. Provides for patient safety. To support and adhere to the Hospital's Mission Statement and to perform according to the Hospital's standards for customer service.8:30am-5pm M-F no weekends or holidays, 3, 7.5 hour shifts per week.Preferred CriteriaPrevious patient care experience in the Operating Room preferredRequired CriteriaHigh School diploma or GEDCurrent BLS certificationAt least 3 years related experience in hospital/healthcare settingMust have the ability to read and write English with good command of verbal EnglishSalary Range:$25.59-$27.50/HourlyIt all begins with you.
