This is a role where your personality is as important as your skills — and where you’ll feel the direct impact of your work every single day.Creating meaningful connectionsWelcome patients with genuine warmth, making them feel like valued members of the Forward Focus familyBuild personal relationships with patients over time — remembering their preferences and needsGuide new patients through the onboarding process, helping them feel at home in our practicePatient communicationProvide attentive, unhurried phone support for patients with a range of needsSchedule appointments while ensuring patients receive the time and attention they deserveConduct reminder calls for upcoming appointments, including annual physical examsAnswer incoming calls warmly and direct messages to the appropriate clinical team membersAdministrative supportMaintain patient records with meticulous attention to detailProcess office visit fees accurately and discreetlyVerify and update patient demographics and insurance informationSupport the clinical team through scanning, emailing, faxing, and other administrative tasksWhat we’re looking forSkills & experienceBachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of work experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills with careful attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, calm demeanorExperience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred but not requiredWho you areA natural connector — people feel welcome and at ease around youCalm and patient, even during busy periodsProactive: you anticipate needs and solve small problems before they become big onesA team player who genuinely enjoys contributing to a shared missionCommitted to patient privacy and confidentiality in everything you doBenefits$25 - $30 /hrHealth and dental insurance401(k) with matchingPaid time offConsistent Monday–Friday schedule (8:00am -4:30pm) — no nights, no weekendsFriday early finish at 3:00 PMAbout Forward FocusFounded in 2007 by Dr. Gary Schaffel, Forward Focus was one of Chicago’s first concierge medicine practices.
