Family Medicine Patient Services RepJoin our team as a day shift, full-time, Family Medicine Patient Services Rep in Pittsburg, TX.Thrive in a People-First Environment and Make Healthcare BetterThrive: We empower our team with career growth opportunities, tuition assistance, and resources that support your wellness, education, and financial well-being.People-First: We prioritize your well-being with paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and a supportive, inclusive culture where you are valued and cared for.Make Healthcare Better: We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care.Get to Know Your Team:UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, wound healing center, swing bed care, 16 physician offices and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility.Responsibilities:The Patient Services Representative functions as a patient services professional in a call center or clinical front desk environment.Patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, scanning and filing documents, and insurance verification.Obtaining authorization, collecting payments, and charge posting.Faxing medical records requests and scheduling patients for injections at the hospital.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Job Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentExperience posting payments and charge entryBasic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills requiredPatient record documentation skillsPreferred Job Requirements:2 years recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
