Patient Services RepresentativeLocation: Los Angeles, CA 90048Duration: 13 WeeksNotes: Float Location: Los Feliz OBGYN Shift: 8-hour shift between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays requiredRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDExperience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plansMinimum of 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office settingAbility to read, comprehend, and respond accurately to detailed oral and written instructionsPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of recent experience as a Patient Service RepresentativeExperience with CS-Link/Epic electronic medical record systemsUnderstanding of medical terminologyJob Duties:Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/EpicSchedule appointments and complete patient registrationProcess and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance typesHandle patient and provider correspondenceExplain policies, procedures, and services to patientsMaintain a clean and sanitized workspace following department guidelinesNote: This job description reflects the primary duties and responsibilities of the position but is not exhaustive.
