About the Role
Patient Transport Volunteers play an essential role in helping patients move safely throughout our facility and beyond. Volunteers assist with:
Supporting patient discharge by escorting patients to designated pick‑up areas
Assisting with transport to and from appointments within the clinic
Helping move patients to and from procedures or diagnostic areas
Providing a friendly presence and compassionate interaction during each trip

Your support helps reduce patient wait times, improves comfort and safety, and provides reassurance during what can be a stressful time. A simple escort can make a big difference in a patient’s day.
Ideal Volunteers
We’re looking for individuals who are:
Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable walking and pushing wheelchairs or assisting with mobility (training provided)
Strong communicators who enjoy working with people
