Job description
PRN
nPosition Purpose:
nThe Transporter performs various procedures and tasks assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients, including the surgical patient, under the direction and supervision of a staff nurse at all times. The Transporter transports patients to various areas throughout the hospital including discharge.
nPosition Qualifications:
n· High school graduate or equivalency.
n· Must complete the 4-6-week orientation program.
n· BCLS required.
n· Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
