Family Health Centers at NYU Langone, a designated Level 3 Medical Home, is the largest federally qualified health center network in New York State, and the second largest in the nation. It includes eight primary care sites, 40 school-based health centers and dental clinics, four day care centers, the nation's largest dental residency program, and New York State's largest behavioral health program. nPosition Summary:
nWe have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Assistant - NSG-Women's Health FHC - Bilingual Spanish/Graduate of accredited MA Program.
nIn this role, the successful candidate The Medical Assistant performs supportive services to the health care provider and nursing staff in the care of patients in the ambulatory care setting in accordance with the policies and procedures
nJob Responsibilities:
nDaily duties include but not limited to:
n* Point of Care testing (POCT)n* Lab draw/phlebotomyn* Interpretation servicesn* Support OBGYN provider with preparing room with all necessary supplies and instrumentsnnMinimum Qualifications:
nTo qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalency required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
nRequired Licenses: Medical Assistant Certificate
nPreferred Qualifications:
n1-2 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.
nQualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

nNYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $43,492.68 - $48,689.97 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

nnQualifications:
nnBachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of procurement experience in relevant spend categories (Marketing, Contingent Labor, Human Resources, Professional Services and Information Technology) preferably in the healthcare sector.
nMBA or other advanced degree or CPM/CPSM certification desired
nAt least 3 years of experience managing advanced negotiations for spend categories >$50m million dollars
nAt least 3 years of experience of managing teams and/or leading cross-functional project teams
nExperience developing and implementing category sourcing strategies with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results. Able to balance short term business priorities and developing fresh long term sourcing/category plans.
nVery strong Analytic skills (up to and including “should cost” modelling)
nCurrency with Sourcing tools such as e-sourcing/e-auctions: comprehensive benchmarking and industry research
nHighly developed communications skills both verbally and in writing to various audiences.
nDetailed knowledge of the strategic sourcing/procurement lifecycle and procurement best practices with a track record of delivery across the end to end procurement value chain.
nExperience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.
nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
nWilling to travel at least 20% of the time for business purposes (domestic only).
