Works with various types of payments and requires strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Performs all the required Cash Application operations involving payment receipt, posting/processing of received payment types (checks, money orders, bankruptcy and CCCS payments), making deposits and other duties with accuracy and timeliness.May be responsible for processing additional payment types, such as Legal Payments, MoneyGram, Western Union, Overnights Consumer Credit Counseling and NSF's.Analyzes and researches incoming payments and reconciles daily deposits and cash transactions.Assists in controls, balances and deposits of daily cash receipts.Maintains/completes user daily balancing sheet.Professional Experience/QualificationsAssociates degree in business or accounting or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred or the equivalent amount of related experience preferred.1+ years of related experience involving payment receipts, processing and depositing payments preferred.Entry to moderate understanding of Accounts ReceivableProficiency in Windows 10 or higher as well as with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and Outlook. Equivalent accounting software experience preferredSalary Range$14.23 - $21.35PRA Group has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, specific working location and market position. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and PRA Group reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications and location of the selected candidate. In addition to base salary, PRA may offer additional benefits to include performance based bonus programs and/or equity programs depending on the position.
