Job description
A healthcare institution in Morgantown, West Virginia is seeking a Clinical Authorization Specialist to support the authorization department through utilization of clinical knowledge. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records to determine medical necessity, coordinating high dollar services, and effectively communicating with payors for authorizations. The ideal candidate must be a high school graduate with a current Licensed Practical Nurse license and have two years of healthcare experience. Additionally, a Registered Nurse license is preferred.
