Payroll AnalystWhirlpool is seeking a qualified candidate for a Payroll Analyst role to join our Global Human Resources organization.This role will be onsite at our Global Headquarters in Benton Harbor, MI. In this role, you will support the payroll activities for the Whirlpool U.S. payroll team by providing support for inquiries, applying policies and practices, support time and attendance processes, and other approved transactional requests related to payroll processing.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeExecute end-to-end biweekly and monthly payroll processing for Whirlpool U.S. & Canada Payrolls via SAPMaintain strict confidentiality and high data accuracy when managing employee records and payroll informationPerform pre-and post-payroll audits, SOX compliance checks, data validation, and system reconciliations to ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.Process payroll adjustments and deductions accurately, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline data flowsProvide research and support for payroll related inquiries to ensure timely response.Assist with system testing, upgrades, and enhancements for SAP and HRIS platforms.Analyze payroll data trends to proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and compliance enhancementsPrioritize competing requests to meet strict deadlines while supporting ad-hoc activities and special projectsCollect, analyse, and validate payroll data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulationsSupporting the ongoing development and maintenance of documentation to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processesMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree2+ years of enterprise-level payroll processing experiencePreferred Skills and ExperiencesBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, AccountingProficiency in Intermediate MS Excel, Google suite (mail, sheets, docs)Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)Excellent communications skills – verbal, active listening, writtenAble to enforce compliance requirementsWell organized with attention to detail and follow up skillsExcellent problem solving and analytical skills needed to troubleshoot problems with urgencyKnowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirementsAttention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrityFamiliarity with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Dayforce, Workday) and their data structuresWhat We OfferGenerous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
