If so, we welcome you to join our exceptional team!Payroll and HR Coordinator $70,000 - $80,000 per yearWe are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and people-centric HR Generalist to join our team! This role supports day-to-day Human Resource operations, with a strong emphasis on assisting processing in Payroll to help ensure accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate have a deep understanding of HR best practices and employment law and possess a working knowledge of payroll procedures and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Functions (50%)Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiriesAdminister and update employee records, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions and transfersAssist with benefits administration including enrollment, changes and terminationMaintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulationsSupport recruitment activities, including posting jobs, screening resumes and coordinating interviewsParticipate in employoee engagement initiatives and support internal HR programsHelp ensure company policies are updated, communicated, and consistently appliedPayroll Support Functions (50%)Assist in processing semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll in collaboration with the Payroll or Finance teamCollect, review and input employee time and attendance dataHelp address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee questionsAssist with payroll audits and reporting as neededMaintain strict confidentiality of payroll and personal employee informationRequired QualificationsEducation: B.A. in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferredExperience: 2-4 years of experience in HR-related rolesExperience assisting with or processing payroll is highly preferredTechnical SkillsProficiency in HRIS and payroll systems such as ADP, Paylocity, Paycom or similar)Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially ExcelKnowledge ofFederal and state employment laws and payroll regulationsHR best practices and confidentiality requirementsSoft SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work independentlyPreferred QualificationsHR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent)Experience in a multi-state payroll or HR environmentWorking ConditionsOffice-based roleOccasional extended hours may be required during payroll processing periodsReasonable Accommodation for DisabilityAny applicant or employee, who believes that a reasonable accommodation is required for purposes of federal or state disability law is required to contact Human Resources to begin the interactive exchange process.DisclaimerPaul Davis Restoration is an equal opportunity employer.
