Payroll AssociateSargent Electric is a leading specialty contractor focused on electrical, instrumentation, wireless, utility, and low voltage systems. We are seeking a Payroll Associate to support our Pittsburgh, PA office.What You'll Do:Provide data entry support that is required to update and maintain the integrity of the information in both the payroll and timekeeping systems.Reconcile payroll reports.Make payments timely and accurately.Enter deduction arrears for any amounts due from employees.Be responsible for payroll taxes and fringe reporting.Performs other duties as assigned or requested.Any additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by Sargent Electrical ManagementWhat You'll Bring:Friendly demeanor, professional and businesslike dress and attitude.Ability to multi-task and to complete work assignments with interruptions.Demonstrated advanced level proficiency in Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word).Experience with Vista/Viewpoint experience a plus.Required Experience and Skills:Associates in Accounting/Business1 year experience in business department using accounting software spreadsheet and database toolsExcellent written communication skills.
