Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Accountant to join their team. As a Payroll & Benefits Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the North America Market. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
nJob Title: Payroll & Benefits Accountant
nLocation: Hybrid 1-2 days - Northeast New Jersey
nPay Range: $45.00/hour - $50.00/hour
nWhat's the Job?
nnnSupport month-end close journal entries, including payroll, benefits accounting, deferred compensation, and EPP.
n
nnPartner with the Payroll team to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting.
n
nnPrepare manual intercompany payroll invoices and review monthly payroll variance reports.
n
nnInvestigate and analyze variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
n
nnEvaluate existing processes and propose improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
n
n nWhat's Needed?
nnnSolid understanding of general accounting activities and journal entry preparation.
n
nnBS degree in finance or accounting preferred.
n
nnWorking knowledge of SAP, MS Office Products, and Blackline.
n
nnExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
n
nnAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
