What We’re Looking For
You don’t have to be a payroll expert to be successful here. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in payroll and/or benefits who is ready to continue learning, take on more responsibility, and grow their career with Chapa-De.
Qualifications
Previous experience in payroll, benefits, human resources, accounting, or a related function, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience reviewing timesheets, employee changes, deductions, benefits, or other payroll-related transactions.
Working knowledge of payroll practices, deductions, taxes, and wage and hour requirements, with an interest in continuing to build payroll expertise.
Experience working with an HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, or similar business system; UKG Ready experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, with the ability to organize, review, and analyze detailed information.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, research issues, and work through solutions.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset and the ability to build positive working relationships throughout the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience supporting payroll processing and/or employee benefits administration.
Experience with payroll taxes, reconciliations, reporting, or general ledger processes.
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Payroll-related training, coursework, or certification is a plus.
