Payroll ClerkWe are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Clerk's duties include, but are not limited to:Process payroll timely & accuratelyMaintain the time collection system, track absenteeism, employee points, punches & call-insProcess & track vacation days, floating holidays, disability & other absence requestsProcess new hiresDistribute benefit packages as employees qualifyUpdate & issue company policiesMaintain personnel files, safety & training recordsFill temporary staff positions as requestedPrepare weekly/monthly payroll reports for accountingMust be self-directed & motivated; ability to work with little/no supervision.Maintain the integrity of the payroll department by keeping all personnel information confidentialLocation: St. Clair County, IL Position type: Full Time Pay: From $17/hr, BOEQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDAssociate Degree in Business is preferredExperience with payroll software and payroll processing thru ADPPrior experience in an office environment, preferably in manufacturing or industryProficient in MS OfficeStrong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
