Payroll ClerkWe are looking for a Payroll Clerk to join a team on a contract to permanent basis. This position supports accurate payroll execution while also assisting with core human resources administration for employees and managers. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling confidential records, and the ability to stay organized in a busy work environment.Responsibilities:Administer payroll activities for employees by reviewing time entries, validating pay information, and helping ensure wages are issued correctly and on schedule.Maintain organized payroll documentation and update records to support compliance with company guidelines and applicable employment regulations.Assist with onboarding tasks by preparing new employee documents, collecting required paperwork, and keeping personnel files current.Provide day-to-day HR administrative support, including benefits-related coordination, employee data updates, and responses to routine staff questions.Investigate and help resolve pay-related issues by working with employees and supervisors to correct discrepancies promptly.Track attendance, time-off information, and other workforce data needed for payroll and HR reporting.Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports related to payroll activity, employee records, and administrative metrics.Safeguard sensitive payroll and personnel information by following confidentiality standards and secure recordkeeping practices.
